Configuring a firewall has many components and features. The configuration you use will depend on your organization and requirements. We couldn't possibly give you any information on entire device configurations, but we can help if you have more specific questions such as configuring a rule to allow a subnet out on a specific port.
Generally, for the configuration you allow networks on the inside to talk to networks on the outside based on specific IP and ports. The inside and outside interfaces usually determine trusted and untrusted networks. Most Firewalls I have seen also have an explicit deny any any at the end with logging to document any attempts in or out of the FW.
