Hi, I am hoping to update the Telnet ACL's and SNMP strings to multiple branch sites which all have multiple Cisco devices.
What is the best way to go about this as doing it manually would take a while and not an option. My companies network is currently a managed service and I am looking to cut out the middle man.
Looking for a free solution to just update ACL and SNMP on R1,R2,S1 etc in over 200 branches.
Thanks

Have a look at rConfig. You need to run it on a Linux host but it is open source.

- You could google on : CISCO-COPY-CONFIG-MIB script examples
The results if usefull will certainly need some re-working to get it going and at least a known snmp write community string is needed , on each target

- Check this particular perl module and template (example) too.
