Hi,
I've configured
interface FastEthernet0/29
port storm-control broadcast action filter
port storm-control broadcast trap
in my 2900XL config.
So the switch sends a SNMP trap to my Ciscoworks machine when the broadcast threshold is exceeded.
I made some tests which confirmed .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.87.2.0.2 SNMP trap was sent to my management servers.
But I don't see anything in my DFM monitoring console.
How can I configure my DFM 1.2 to display these alarms?
(I know there is possible to configure Broadcast threshold (%) for FastEthernet ports via Administration Console, but I've got a feeling it takes data from interface statistics (5 min by default) and not from receiving SNMP trap.)
Thanks,
Milan

You can't. See the DFM FAQ, click on SNMP Traps:

Thanks for immediate reply.
That's what I was afraid of - CW is not a network monitoring system, it's more an inventory and configuration management system.
