Hi
I am trying to find a MIB to get information (eg. model) regarding the SFP inserted into a module card in Catalyst4503 with interface index (ifindex)
I found ENTITY-MIB which give all informations that I need but is using a phisical index.
I need to understand by SNMP if a particular model of SFP is inserted into the corresponding interface using the interface index.
Does enyone know other MIBs through which it is possible to get such information.
Thanks
Andrea

Hi Andrea
For SFP you need to use physical index only for polling SNMP info.
There are no interface index for SFP modules.
Thanks

Thanks Mahabir
so do you know if there is some other information that I can use to understand which SFP is inserted between 1000BASE-LH and 1000BASE-T using interface index.

Andrea

Thanks Cwallin
I had already seen this post.
No problem I found a way to reach my purpose. The only thing is that it is always difficult to have corrispondences on a table between interfaces and gbic model installed due to different index numbers.
Thanks
Andrea
