Hi !
I don't find the answer on the internet, so, I ask it here.
Can we monitor fans on the cisco 2960 ?
If we can, which OID we should use ?
By advance, thank's for answers.

odd, according mib browser, CISCO-ENVMON-MIB is present on that switch/ version:
https://mibs.cloudapps.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/MainServlet?ReleaseSel=4186&PlatformSel=361&fsSel=1449
I don't have a 2960 to hand with which to test further.
Have you tried a different software version?

Hi there,
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.3 ciscoEnvMonFanState
...this will just tell you the state (as per the sh env command) not the fan speed.
cheers,
Seb.

This OID work really well with a Switch 3750, but when I try to use it with the 2960 (with snmpwalk command) I receive "SNMPv2-SMI::entreprises.9.9.13.1.4.1.3 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID" ... It's really strange

It seems to be a problem on our switch who don't have this OID for misterious reason. We give up for the moment.
Thanks for your help.
