We have single mode fiber optic network between buildings and CAT 6 CAT 5 LAN inside each building of campus with Ethernet and gigabit Ethernet switches and ordered for "GE SFP MODULE " - LC CONNECTOR 'LX/LH" TRANSCEIVER FOR SINGLE MODE FIBER FOR CISCO CATALYST but the supplier has delivered "GE GLC-SX -MMD ".Now what to do with this because the switch is not working with this transceiver or in other words 2960 S SWITCH does not recognize "GE GLC-SX -MMD " because indicator is not lighting up What type of mode conditioning patch cable or other cost effective fix and all possible alternatives to make "GLC SX MMD" work with CATALYST 2960 S SWITCH and single mode fiber optical network .What will be the configuration.Please help and advice
