Yes - delete the VM and reinstall from scratch.

I'm guessing they incorrectly installed the PnP server.

They need to use the "PI-VA-2.2.0.0.158.ova" file from cisco.com as highlighted below (open image in new tab to zoom):

Please share the output of:

show application status NCS

Follow:

cpnc101/admin# sh application status NCS
% Application NCS is not installed
cpnc101/admin#

That's very odd. Could your VM have reverted from a pre-installation snapshot? Or, if this is a brand new installation, you might have installed the wrong OVA - i.e. the Plug and Play gateway and not PI proper.

I ask because even your show version output isn't correct for PI 2.2 at the ADE-OS level.

Following are the "show application status NCS" and "show version" from a working, patched PI 2.2 server:

VM-PI/admin# show application status NCS

Health Monitor Server is running.
Matlab Server Instance 1 is running
Ftp Server is running
Database server is running
Matlab Server is running
Tftp Server is running
NMS Server is running.
Matlab Server Instance 2 is running
Plug and Play Gateway is running.
SAM Daemon is running ...
DA Daemon is running ...

VM-PI/admin# show ver

You was right Marvin.

Now is working.

Dear, I'm having the same problem, installed OVA is correct.

the command show application status NCS does not work

% Application NCS is not installed

Can you help me?

Alessandra,

Please share the output from:

show version

I have the same problem..?

inventx.ch,

From the output you provided, it appears you haven't used the proper OVA to install the product.

Please confirm the OVA filename that you used in your installation.

I used this OVA file

Hmm, that's odd. That is the correct ova file.

Did you run through setup after the initial VM power on?

yes, we run through setup.

I think we reinstall the OVA, and try again...

Hi Everyone

I am currently working on this technology. I have been having serious challenge downloading the .ova file. I keep getting the warning below.

Can someone share the file may be on dropbox / onedrive or any ftp site

Thanks
