I'm doing ccent and can't get my head round ospf. Can anyone help me?

Here is another one you can try if you haven't looked at it already.  I have some Cisco "cheat sheets" somewhere, which gives you a great summery in collage form of the logical idea behind it.

It depends on what kind of problem you're having.

Have you looked into the Cisco Learning Network for general information?

Thanks. I've had a look at the Learning Network re OSPF, but my question is quite basic i.e. I need more detail in regard to OSPF configuration e.g. do I have to configure the router ID after entering OSPF config mode / or do I configure a loopback address before using the "network" command?

The reason for my question is that I've seen OSPF config presented in different ways in different labs and I need a foolproof understanding before I resit the exam.

An idiot-proof guide would be helpful if there's one out there!
