IAS Strong Authentication Possible?

Is it possible to use strong authentication (not PAP), using RADIUS (Microsoft IAS)?

This hasn't been a problem for me until recently. I am in need of a way to secure the authentication process.

Shouldn't MS IAS support at least MS-CHAP of some form, in addition of PAP? It's probably more of a concern about whether your NAS supports the same "strong" auth method.
