ifIndex persistence in NX-OS

From what I have read on line, it appears that by default the Nexus Switches, at least the 7k, has ifIndex persistence by default.  Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!!

Hello Mitch,

it looks like you are right see the following page

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/5_x/nx-os/system_management/configuration/guide/sm_nx_os_cg/sm_9snmp.html#56568

Displays the persistent SNMP ifIndex value from IF-MIB for all interfaces. Optionally, use the | keyword and the grep keyword to search for a particular interface in the output.

I don't know for other Nexus platforms but Nexus 7000 should support it by default as explained in the link above.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
