Is it possible to use SWIM to stage the IOS to a router but reload at a different time?

It looks like the option is only to reload or not after the image is loaded. The reload cannot be done at a scheduled time later.

There is another option: Schedule a NetConfig command to reload the router at a certain time.

If you do attempt to use netconfig to reload the device as an adhoc command make sure to use the syntax like:
reload
It is an interactive command so it expects return carriages

Sorry for dredging up an old post, but I'm having a few problems following this same procedure.
Updating the IOS is no problem, but when I go to reload the switch at a later time using netconfig the job says 'failed' and returns the fail message :
'Message: Command(s) failed on the device
Insufficient no. of interactive responses(or timeout) for command: reload. Authentication password should not be null Couldnot enter ENABLE Mode from USER Mode on Device.
Could not synchronize RME archive with Device Config'
Through testing Ive seen that the switch does in fact reload, it just doesnt report that back to ciscoworks. Is there any other way to reload the switches so that I'll know for definate that the reload has taken place?
Thanks in advance.
