Is E-DI still alive?

Hi,

I am interested in using E-DI to automate checks and configurations in our network.

But when I read the documents about the latest release 2.2 it seems that the list of supported IOS versions isn't updated.

Could it be that there is no interest from Cisco to develop E-DI?

Or could I use E-DI on newer versions if I don't configure new features?

Could someone please advice if this is the way to go?

No, E-DI is not really being updated anymore.  If you're looking for a tool to do configuration compliance, have a look at Cisco Prime LAN Management Solution.  You can get a 90-day eval from http://www.cisco.com/go/nmsevals.  LMS has a built-in compliance and configuration management system to do automatic configuration deployment, archive, and baseline checking.
