When I am trying to configure a simple applet on the ISRG2 routers after entering the action for email, the variables end up being empty in the actual config
Here is what I am entering in the config mode
event manager applet bgp_detect
event syslog pattern "%BGP-*"
action 3.0 mail server "$_email_server" to "$_email_to" from "$_email_from" cc "$_email_cc" subject "BGP event" body "$_syslog_msg" source-interface Loopback0
The variables are defined in the global config, however with some of the newer codes like 15.7(3)M6 for example , after entering action command and looking at the config you end up with the empty string within quotes. Has anyone seen similar issue ? I end up with this in the config.
