Hi all, I'm looking to get our LAN / WAN documentation organized and wanted to know if anyone is using, or has used, anything that they're happy with. I want an application that will keep track of a multitude of info (circuit IDs, Router and switch info, IP addressing spreasheets, location information, etc.) but haven't found anything that looks to fit the bill. If anyone's used something like this, could you let me know what it was and how well it worked for you.
Thanks

hi
i think the best one is cisco works, and also you can organize your network by your self using microsoft visio, it allows you to fill information about your network but it does not supply speadsheets unless you are a visual basic devolopper so you can integrate some codes to provide a multitide of programmed tools including excell sheets all that within visio .

Hi,
Have a look at twiki:
After evaluating a couple of professional products I came across this and haven't looked back.
You'll probably need a bunch of plugins to suit your own environment but nothing else comes close. Add it to IPplan (http://iptrack.sourceforge.net/) and you have an open-source combo that's hard to beat.
Definitely recommended.
