Length 0 set on vty isn't working

I have a fleet of 9200 switches that I'm trying to set vty lines up on and when I add the length 0 option, it doesn't work. I can log into the switch and verify I am using one of the configured vty lines but it still defaults to scroll breaks. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

what  IOS XE running ?

instead try 

Length  512 (maximum and test it)

as i remember 17.X code i have tested vty lines length 0 (works for me)  on Cat 9300
