I'm aware of the show cdp and show lldp CLI commands, but I want to pull the same information out of the devices using SNMP Gets, but cannot seem to find any information relating to that.

Thanks in advance.

Do any Cisco Devices currently support the LLDP MIB?

If so, which ones?

If not, when do you plan to support them?

Walt

Seven days since I initially asked the first question.

Is the question really that difficult?

Do any Cisco devices support the LLDP MIBs yet or not?

If they do, which devices, if they don't, then when does Cisco plan to support them?

Walt

There is some stub LLDP-MIB support in the latest 7600 images (e.g. 12.2(33)SRC). However, this is not supported. LLDP-MIB support is planned, at least in the 7600 and 6500 series, but I do not have a timeline.

2 years later, how's LLDP support via SNMP?

If Cisco does not support LLDP via SNMP, please remove the wrong information from

Stop lying!

i can report that at least on our 6509 sup 720 on 12.2(33)SXI2a, it does not support the LLDP MIB.

looking at https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3146744 shows that it's not supported on new SXI's either; but does with the 3750E's.
