hello,
I install the LMS 2.5.1 with update Dec 2005 (SP3).
I have an problem, the service CRMdmgtd will not start. In the Event Viewer I did'nt receive any message about this problem.
I can start manually all Ciscoworks services except the Ciscoworks daemon manager.
I reboot the server but I have the same problem.
Can you help me about this problem ?

One of the reasons this can happen is if there was a change made for the casuser account on the box. This is the internal user account Ciscoworks uses for all its internal processes. There is no way to check if the causer password has been changed. However, we can always reset it.
Do the following to reset the casuser account.
- From the Server-CLI (command line) , cd to \CSCOpx\setup\support
- try to run, resetCasuser.exe
- restart your server, net start crmdmgtd
- or try rebooting the box

I found that I couldn't get the daemon manager to startup, found your post and viola, it's working now.
