LMS 2.5 Archived files

Can someone tell me in what directory the archived config files are stored. Cant find them anywhere. Want to make sure I have backups before I get rid of old LMS 2.2 server Thanks

By default you will not be able to view the configs on the server (they are in numbered directories).

You may re-enable the shadow directory feature in this manner:

RME -> Administration -> Configuration Management

Click on Archive Mgmt (under TOC)

Select Enable Shadow Directory and click on Apply

There is a subfolder named "shadow" down under your $nmshome directory (which is typically on Solaris, at: /var/adm/CSCOpx/files/archive/

shadow or on Windows NT, at C:\program files\CSCOpx\files\archive\shadow). That folder has directories for the major types of devices with text files containing the current config files of your RME-managed Cisco devices.

(Note that this applies by default to pre-2.5 installations. Nadim Habib correctly noted the caveat for the new release above.)
