LMS 2.5 install automation on Windows

Our policies state that server software installs should be done using a response file for a "silent install". Our admins have tried to make one of these response files, but it seems to not work - we are still prompted for passwords when the install runs. Has anyone been able to do these installs in an automated way?

Done it successfully for CS 3.0 and RME 4.0

Common Services 3.0:

setup.exe quiet answerfile=c:\answerfile

These are the tags which go in the answerfile for quiet mode install.

adminPassword=admin

casuserPassword=casuser

destination=d:\apps\cscopx

systemIdentityAccountPassword=admin

Please note that the destination dir should be empty.

You may choose any destination dir. Note that if you plan to install in a directory such as c:\program files\cscopx you would have to enter this:

destination=c:\progra~1\cscopx

RME 4.0:

setup.exe QUIET

Random password will be created for RME database. You can reset using dbpasswd.pl.
