LMS 2.6 & GLBP Shows Interfaces Unresponsive

Hello,

On a lot of our switches we utilize GLBP for load-balance and failover. We use Ciscoworks LMS 2.6 to monitor the network devices.

The problem I seem to have is that when we use GLBP Ciscoworks complains that the interface is down and unresponsive. Is there something other than Unmanaging the Interface in DFM?

In DFM 2.0.11, there are bulk management scripts which will allow you to unmanage certain IP addresses while keeping the interfaces themselves managed. The scripts can be found in NMSROOT/objects/smarts/utils, and they are documented in the online help.

In LMS 3.0, there is a GUI hook to do this using the DFM Detailed Device View.
