HI I have LMS 3.1 with HUM 1.1.2 installed in my network.
I am facing two problems while analyzing the HUM interface utilization reports.
1) Few Gig interface's utilization reflecting under ifHCInoctets & ifHCOutOctates as well as in ifInOctetes & ifOutOctets. If the interface speed is 1000MB then idealy only ifHCInoctets/ifHCOutOctets should collect the values. How Both type of counters should reflect vlaue. report "test1.csv" is attached here with.
2) As per management requirement we filters out interface utilization for few interfaces and produces the utilization in other format by manual calculation.
for last 24 hour minimum utilization of a interface = Min value of (ifHCinoctates*8)/(1000*1000)
For few interfaces we observe the utilization goes beyond 1000 mb and for some it is very lees(Which is not actual in comparision to the report from
whatsupgold).
Here my query is how HUM calculates the Min/max/average value of IfHCinOctets and IfHCOutOctets?
