LMS 3.2 ANIServer failed to run

I have installed Ciscoworks LMS 3.2 0n windows server 2003 enterprise

edition. I have issue with Campus Manager while accessing any thing in Campus Manager it

is giving following error.

"Error in loading properties from the server"

"Can not contact to ANI server"

Status of ANIServer process is Failed to run

I tried to reinitialize Campus Manager Database still it is showing same issue.

Installed Campus manager version 5.2.1

check attached file for ANI log

Need assistance for the same.

Hi,

Have you applied Patch for this BUG CSCtd49439  ?

I think you are hitting the below bug :

CSCtd49439   Data Collection never completes, and UT acquisition cannot run

You need to open a Tac case to get the Patch for this.

Or you can Upgarde the LMS 3.2 to LMS 3.2.1 and that will take care of the issue.

I am not able to run Data Collection when i try to start it gives following error.

" can not contact ANI server since it is down"

Kindly send me the below information:

--output of pdshow command:

Have you installed any Device pacakges update recently..?

send me the below files:

Aniserver.properties   and

Aniserver.properties.ORIG    (Location:NMSROOT\CSCOpx\campus\etc\cwsi)

Hi,

Kindly replace the attached ANIServer.properties file with the Existing one . Make sure you have all the required premission on this file.

Note :Keep the backup of Existing file

Then Restat the ANIServer as below:

pdterm ANIServer

pdexec ANIServer

Now check the status with pdshow ANIServer ,it should be Running with busy flag set

then try to run the Data collection and I hope it should work..
