No, software and config management cannot be done. You can bring up Device Center, but the device will only have very generic options (e.g. ping, traceroute, SNMP Walk, etc.).

LMS is designed to manage Cisco devices. You will not get much value for non-Cisco equipment. RME will be able to do some basic MIB-II inventory collection, and you can setup pollers in the Health and Utilization Monitor add-on, but that's about it. Those HP devices will also count against your license, so it's best to not add them to the various LMS applications.

Hello Clarke,
RME will be able to do some basic MIB-II inventory collection ????
what is MIB-II inventory collection??
I don't have a HUM included in that it is not extension only the base model.
Thanks for kind reply.

MIB-II collection is the system branch and the ifTable. You will not get asset details like serial numbers, memory information, file system info, etc. Yes, HUM is an add-on which requires a separate license.
