LMS 4.0 : 3560X Compatibility with CiscoView

Hi,

I would like to know how to solve this issue.

I upgraded CiscoWorks, LMS 4.0 to LMS 4.0.0.

All my 3560X can be managed in CiscoWorks, but NOT in CiscoView.

How could I do to solve this ?

Thank you,

Regards.

S.

As per the Supported Devices table for LMS 4.0 it seems the 3560x devices are supported.

Please update the device packges from Admin > System > Software Center > Device Update to get the latest device packges to get the support of 3560x's.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

Actually, when I go to  Admin > System > Software Center > Device Update, I receive a message telling me that NO PACKAGE UPDATE is available to download, so I think I have the last updates on my CWorks Server.

My 3560X are ok in Inventory, but when I launch CiscoView, I receive this error message : (look at the joined file).

It appears you are having a similar issue as I am having with my Nexus 5000's (see earlier thread).

I'm going to open a TAC case - I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Hi,

Ok, thank you.

Let me know how is it going....

There is an issue seems to be going with LMS and cisco.com connectivity for device packages and hence it may not show you anything there as a new device pkg.

Please donwload and install the device packge for 3560s from (Cat3560.cv50.v11-0.zip):

http://tools.cisco.com/search/display?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cisco.com%2Fcisco%2Fpub%2Fsoftware%2Fportal%2Fselect.html%3Fi%3D%21s%26imageGuId%3D2D020E79627C2B7DBBD72ECE8F84409BBA05B2F8&pos=2&strqueryid=1&websessionid=Nyk5ZQQYatp8DuKHFaWaajk

Along with this, you need the dependent package (DtShare.cv50.v1-8.zip):

Thanks, Vinarya.

How can one navigate to these packages and selct from amon them. When I try to drill down via the top level menu, it fails after hitting:

Clicking on the CiscoView Device Package Updates link gives me "The download process was interrupted. Please restart the download process. If you continue to see this message, contact Cisco support at web-help@cisco.com."

Specifically, I'm trying to get the Nexus 5000 device package.
