Losing admin access after assigning port to VLAN

Hello. Sorry if this is a newbie question but I've searched quite a bit for an answer & can't find one.

When configuring VLANs on the SG350 all goes well until I try to include the port (ie, g24) that I'm using for administration. As soon as that port is assigned to a VLAN, I can no longer the switch's web portal for administration and the only way to regain control over the switch is to reset it to factory defaults via paper clip.

In this scenario it's impossible to use all the ports on the switch as one would always be wasted for administration; surely there must be a way to access the web portal without burning a port just for this purpose.

What am I doing wrong?

FYI. Haven't gone down the path of configuring via the console port; I think that's above my pay grade at this point.

Thank you.
