Merging two Prime Infrastructure instances

Hi,

We have two separate CPI 2.0 servers with one managing the wired network and the the other manages the wireless components. One option is manual device export, template creation etc from source CPI to target CPI. But is it possible to selectively backup / export db on the Wireless CPI and merge restore /  import db on the Wired CPI ? The existing wired CPI will than be used to manage both wired and wireless and the other CPI instance (formally for wireless) decommissioned. 

The manual option is what I am thinking but just checking if two CPI's can be merged !

Hi Rick,

AFAIK, Selective backup and Restore is not possible in PI so what you are possibly trying to achieve is unfortunately not possible.

Only thing you can do at the moment as mentioned by your export and import devices..
