Migrating from NCS 1.1.2 to Prime 1.2? Possible?

According to this:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/prime/infrastructure/1.2/quickstart/guide/cpi_qsg.html#wp73107 it mentions that migrating from NCS 1.1.2 to CPI 1.2 isn't possible.

How can I get around this?

It is possible. But we encourage to move to PI 1.3 as 1.2 had a lot of known issues and bugs.

Hello,

I went through your query and the link of the doucment that you were referring and I would like to tell you that there is not mentioned anwhere in the doucment specifacally that this particular migration is not possible.

So please move ahead with your migration.

TAC has a patch to upgrade off of 1.1.2.12.

I don't recall but kinda' think it is to get to 1.3.0.20 and not to 1.2.1.12

Basically you take a backup from the 1.1.2.12 server then restore it into a newly build 1.3 server that has had the patch applied.

I've 3 or 4 and it works just fine...
