Has anyone attempted to monitor voltage through a 1841 router? The IOS version
c1841-advsecurityk9-mz.124-11.T.bin. Through the MIB browser on cisco site it says it is supported but wondering if the equipment supports this function? I have the OID which could produce this as well.
- ciscoEnvMonVoltageStatusTable = 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.2
- ciscoEnvMonVoltageStatusEntry = 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.2.1
- ciscoEnvMonVoltageStatusValue = 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.2.1.3
Regards,
Matthew

Voltage objects are not supported on the 1841 platform.

No. It looks like the only environment monitoring supported by the 1841 is fan monitoring.

Thank you for the information, we have been looking everywhere for this..
Do you have a sample configuration for traps or RMON to activate if the fan goes out?
Do you have link to check on what other equipment supports voltage and temp?

To enable Fan traps from the CISCO-ENVMON-MIB, just add:
snmp-server enable traps envmon
That will enable the ciscoEnvMonFanNotification notification. I do not know of a link that provides general ENVMON support for all devices.
