Multiple Interface Configurations

I have recently been tasked with updating the description section of my cisco switch interfaces with the patch panel number that each interface is connected to, does anyone know of a way to do this by uploading a giant csv file? Or do I have to hand-jam each entry into each interface manually? Thanks!

I see that this goes into detail about setting descriptions from CDP information, but I'm looking for a way to set descriptions from an uploaded file, if it's even possible.

You could most likely use Netmiko to do this if you are familiar with it or python.
