NCS540X8 doesnt recognize imput from new computer

Hey.

so i got a new computer a couple of weeks ago, and when i tried to connect and config it with the standers cisco usb t usb console cable i can connect and get info from the switch but it does accept any key preses from my computer, external keybord or anything else.

if i connect a serial console cable it works with some bugs.

anyone know whats up?

what terminal emulator ? is the cable works with other devices ?

putty, yes the cable is one i use for every cisco and asr920 works fine with this cable.

Oh is that from product document ? I have seen the speed higher level in different products.

Leave the speed as it is, and try parity and flow control none/none and test it.

Sadly no diff. ive tryed everything i can imagen as a tech with 5+ years exp.

ya understand some time we stuck small issue take long time to fix.

are you using USB console cable ? or old cable ?

i use a type a to type a. but if i use a rs232 console cable it works with some bugs.

NCS uses 115200 baud
