Need an EEM script to generate trap

Hi, i'm looking for an EEM script to generate a trap when the port security violation count on a switch interface crosses 2000.

How would you verify the violation count manually?

        I need to get the data automatically without any manual intervention.

Right, I get that.  However, I'm not sure how one detects this violation manually in order to then automate it.  Write out each step of how you would do this manually, and then an EEM policy can be created.
