hello everybody,
i need some help to configure my firewall pix 501. I have some probleme with the outside interface. With the PDM (System property/interface) i see that my outside interface is enable. But on the monitoring there is a red cross near the outside interface.
with telnet when i do "show interface" i can see this result:
interface ethernet0 "outside" is up, line protocol is down
i try to put the line protocol on UP but i find no way!!!
more over when i connect a PC on the outside interface (with the good IP, 192.168.4.2 for the PC and 192.168.4.1 for the outside interface) there is no answer with a simple ping!!!
