need to create Dashlet for uplinks with LMS 4.2 ??

Hi all,

     I am having a LAN with 30 switches and . Is it possible to create seperate dashlet/dash board  to moniter only the  uplink trunk ports of Lan Excluding acces ports with LMS 4.2 ????

Hi Padian,

The standard interfaces portlets do not allow you filter by specific interfaces or interface group, so you can use the "Custom TOP/Bottom-N Records" portlet to support this requirement.

You'll need to start by creating a monitoring template (Monitor > Performance Settings > Setup > Templates) and select what you'd like to poll. You can also copy one of the existing interface templates and name it as desired.

Then, create a poller using the newly created template and select the devices and interfaces you'd like to poll.

Lastly, add the "Custom TOP/Bottom-N Records" portlet (it's one of the monitoring portlets) to your dashboad and select the template you created earlier.
