Hi,
I am getting netflow export for my vlans on my cat 6506-E (IOS12.4), but I cannot get anything for my physical ports (Ws-x6348 blades).
Can I get netflow export for this (my CatOS Cats do) ??
Regards
Scott

Hello Scott,
are you using CatOS+IOS or native IOS on your 6500? If you are using CatOS on your supervisor, did you configure a netflow export on it? It is necessary to configure netflow export from both parts (switch L2 part [PFC] and routing L3 part [MSFC]). You can find information about netflow configuration for CatOS on our pages: http://netflow.caligare.com/configuration.htm
I hope that it helps...
Kind regards

Hi,
Our 2 x Cat6506-E's are native IOS, the other 2 are Cat6506's running hybrid (IOS/CatOS).
The hybrids are working fine , its the native ones we are struggling with.

Scott.

Hello,
did you configure 'mls nde' on your native IOS boxes?
I recommend the following options:
mls nde sender version 7
mls aging long 128
mls aging normal 32
mls flow ip interface-full
mls nde

Hello,
it seems OK... Are your blades in the same VLAN or each blade is in another VLAN? If a traffic between blades goes throught same VLAN you cannot see that traffic unless you will configure accounting of layer2 switched vlans.
(command: ip flow ingress layer2-switched
