Hi Guys,
My company has several access switches in the network ( Catalyst C3560X-48PF and C3750G-48TS). We use Cacti to monitor them; It does the job; I can see the traffic and when they go down. However, I’d like to have something better than Cacti.
What do you guys use for monitoring access switches? I want to monitor layer 2 and 3 altogether.
For example, sometimes, we have very high traffic in the network, and it takes hours to find out the source/host that is doing it because Cacti doesn’t help too much.
Switch models:
Catalyst C3560X-48PF-S
Catalyst C3560-48PS
Catalyst C3750G-48TS
Thanks.

i worked on Many tools example Opensource and paid version.
Opensource :
MRTG
Cacti
LebreNMS
Paid and Free
PRTG some point
ManageEngine
LogicMonitor
Solarwinds
Personally for Longterm i build Opensource based tool which help you make your own way, if you have local expertise.
