Nexus design

Hi,

can someone let me know if the below design is recommended? I know we can have double sided vpc between the vpc clusters, bcoz of internal cabling issues, i have arrived at this design.Design.JPG

1. GW for the servers connected to bottom vpc cluster resides on the top vpc cluster

2. SVR Dist-01 is the STP root bridge and HSRP active

3. If the design is supported, does the traffic will flow from both the L2 trunk ports from 5548 cluster to 5672 or the secondary will be blocked?

4. what other issues i will encounter if i go ahead with this design.

Thanks,

Sridhar

If you can do mesh between nexus is best design, so most of the failure scenarios addressed.

or else if some time hard to track interface failure, since HSRP do not aware uplink failed, unless you want to make complicated setup with tracks and other stuff.

Look at some good model

Yes it block,
Nexus with vPC will act like one Virtual SW.
Now two Virtual SW connect via two link and run the STP so one of them must be BLK to prevent Loop.

one note:- the vPC link must be high enough the forward traffic between the two vPC peer.
