Nexus Storm-Control EEM Help

I have a requirement with a customer to come up with an event notification on their Nexus 7k and 5ks when a port configured for storm-control exceeds the defined threshold. It seems like all that I can do is send a Syslog/SNMP trap and no e-mail for notification. I've included what I came up with but there seems like I should be able to do more. Any advice would be appreciated. I would really like to send a notification out.

event manager applet SC-ALERT
event storm-control
action 1 syslog msg Interface $interface exceeded high threshold for broadcast traffic

I would also like to change the default action for storm control to error disable the port. Can that be done?

Name : storm_control
Description : Traffic on a port exceeds configured thresholds
Event Parameters : interface, cause
Publisher : Ethernet Port Manager
Default Action : None
