NFVIS recently has the ability to poll the sysname in version 4.11. I have configured the ENCS management port as follows.
Here are configurations that we are using on the NFVIS
snmp user XXX user-version 3 user-group XXX auth-protocol sha passphrase xxxxxx priv-protocol aes encryption-passphrase xxxxxx
When we poll the device by running snmpwalk
snmpwalk -On -Lo -v3 -u TESTUSER -l authPriv -a SHA -A xxxxxx -x AES -X xxxxxx x.x.x.x
We get this error
Error in packet.
Reason: authorizationError (access denied to that object)
Failed object: .1.3.6.1.2.1
I can run snmpwalk of all the other devices routers and switches using the same SNMP v3 credentials. Has anyone been able to get SNMP v3 to work?

- Set logging level to debug https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/nfvis/config/nfvis-4/nfvis-config-guide-4/m-nfvis-logging.html and check logs on the device afterwards when the snmpwalk is tried ,
