HI,
I have a Cisco 2900 router currently functioning within my voice network. I am planning to upgrade to two new Cisco 4300 routers, replacing the existing Cisco 2900 router. To ensure redundancy in the voice network, I intend to implement HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol). The present voice router also serves as the NTP master. My goal is to assign the IP address of this router (192.168.10.5) as the HSRP virtual IP. I kindly request guidance on configuring NTP on both routers along with HSRP.
The network configuration is as follows:
- Current router IP: 192.168.10.5
- New router one IP: 192.168.10.11
- New Router two IP: 192.168.10.12
I would appreciate your guidance on how to configure NTP and HSRP on both the existing and new routers.
Thanks
