Is there a way to make Packet Capture work for a Solaris installed version of Cisco Prime 4.1?
Thanks,

I've not used LMS on Solaris. In Windows it just works from the GUI in Device Center.
You could always drop into the system shell and run tcpdump from the command line - that's essentially what the GUI is doing under the covers anyhow.

You can also do the following ::
1. From root run: snoop -o /tmp/SnmpWalk.trc udp port 161 (similarly you can do for any port or protocol )
for more information on snoop , you can use the "man" command .
2. The packet counter should start increasing eventually.
hit Ctrl-C to stop the capture and you should have the SnmpWalk.trc file under /tmp.
Thanks-
