PI 2.0 Max UI backups to keep exeeds intended number when ftprepo is used.

Hi All,

Using prime infra PI 2.0.0.0.294 on HW appliance the NCS Server Backup scheduler backups every day to a external FTP server. The "Max UI backups to keep" value = 2.

This purging does not work as expected: we find 19 *.tar.gpg files on the FTP server filling up the disk space. see also attached screenshots.

The FTP user has read/write privaleges on the FTP server.

Q:

- Is this working as designed?

- Is there anyone who is using the same configuration?

- How should we configure this?

same issue by using a nfs-repo. :-(

Prime Infrastructure can manage the "How many backup copies to keep" on local repos only.....

i.e. it can't manage these on remote repositories.

I put in a product enhancement request some months back to get this added to future releases.
