Hi,
I shortly upgraded Prime from 2.2 to 3.0, installed Patch 3.0.1 as well.
After I imported the database, I wanted to clear/assign/delete several alarms from dashboard.
Suddenly, clicking the okay button doesn't have any impact. The cancel button is working fine though.
(this shows up everytime I need to use a button!!!! so I'm not able to set any settings correctly.)
I tried it in firefox 38.4.0, internet explorer 11 and chrome on v46. I as well cleared my browsing history.
I didn't find any posts on that online so I hope anyone can help me out?

Hi Jasmin,
It sounds like you are hit by CSCuw86609:
CSCuw86609 - Unable to clear, assign, or delete alarms and events in PI after patch
After patching PI 3.0 to PI 3.0.1, you are no longer able to clear, assign, or delete alarms or events in PI.
Symptom:-
When trying to clear alarms in PI, nothing happens when you select "ok" at the "Are you sure you want to clear the selected alarms" popup window. Also, it appears that you are unable to assign alarms.
Conditions:-
This condition arises after applying the 3.0.1 patch to PI 3.0.
Workaround:-
None
Fix :- PI 3.0.2
ETA :- Within last week of November tentatively

Hi jmandersson, is there a way to roll back the 3.0.1 patch?
Not sure if I should wait for the 3.0.2 at the end of nov.
Kind regards

Not according to the Release notes to 3.0.1:
"Once you install this maintenance release, you cannot un-install or remove it."
But you can do a fresh install och use your application backup to restore data, or you might have taken a VM snapshot before upgrade and restore from that.

Johan

Hi,
I just applied the new 3.0.2 Patch and the problem is still there!
I can't believe Cisco didn't fix it by now!
It's very important to clear alarms and change settings or apply different jobs!
I'm really disappointed !!!! Please fix it!

I have more problems than you do.
It seems Cisco is very bad at coding....

HI, can't see the fixed bug in fixed caveate on release notes.
Have contacted TAC, as this is a pain
11-25-2015 06:22 AM
Hi,
I'm still struggling with it.
11-25-2015 07:00 AM
hI, did you reboot prime after?
Just got this from TAC
"
Yes, I have tested in my lab too and it seems to be working fine.
Maybe the person on the ciscosupport forum discussion needs to raise a TAC case to investigate further on his specific issue, maybe 3.0.2 version not applied correctly or something else going on.
I am waiting for the developers to respond to me as well from their testing."

Yes I did
11-25-2015 07:00 AM
you got tac support?
11-25-2015 07:04 AM
No 'cause there's no support on NFR products

Hey all,
We are running PI 3.0 with Software Updates:
Prime Infrastructure 3.0 Device Pack 3 (Device Support - 3.0)
PI 3.0.2 (Critical Fixes - version 2.0.0)
PI 3.0.2 Update 02 (Critical Fixes - 2.0.0)
PI 3.0 TECH PACK (Prime Add-Ons - 1.0.3)
Prime Insight Agent (Prime Add-Ons - 1.0.0)
If I want to acknowledge an alarm it works. Clearing the exact same alarm sometime works sometimes doesn't. What's up with that?
I have tried different browsers, different versions of the same browser, but the behavior is absolutely random!
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Katerina
