1 - login via ssh and then changed the admin password by using this command - #username admin hash password role admin
2. i'm using the first admin password that i defined during the "setup"

Literally 1) is incorrect ; it should be changed from config mode
admin@cisco-prime # conf t
config # username admin hash password role admin

Hi,
I did it from conf mode

- Should work, some things to attend too ;
1) verify normal operational status of prime using :
ncs status
2) Assuming (as in above) that you still have ssh access from the console , issue the password for admin again, do not use a hash, but plain password (text); also for testing use a plain password-value (without any special characters).
- Check if this works.
