Prime Infrastructure Design Possibilities?

Hi All,

Please can someone be good enough to clarify something about prime instance design? 

Suppose i have two prime VMs and in two regional locations, one vm in each location, each VM with two different subnet ranges 10.173 and 10.175 range. Can i still do HA ? the vms are running 3.2 with 20,000 endpoints. Is that design feasible and how would it be configured/work? whats the maximum endpoint that can be suppported?

Yes it will work, if you respect the conditions -> read the prime HA guide

The guide that @pieterh pointed out is a good place for information about setting up HA and the caveats to understand.

The calculation for the number of nodes is not so simple. You really need to calculate the number of total ports. For instance, the design guide shows you the total number of different device types that a single instance of PI can handle. If you plan to manage or just monitor, that is another question to consider. Look through the Quick Start Guide to get an idea of the device counts to expect.

Hi,

If prime wants to upgrade software version on wlc can it do so using.aes file? if not what file is allowed? Its supposed to show the image file in the image summary dashboard on the left hand side so it can be distributed also and not only in repostory right?
