I am trying to upgrade a Prime 3.4 instance into a partially built and already in production 3.8 server.
In the 3.8 server, there are already 500 APs placed on multiple maps.
In the 3.4 server, there are about 5,000 APs placed on many maps.
If I export the maps in 3.4, then import them into 3.8, will it overwrite the existing maps that are already on there? Or will it nicely integrate the new data with the existing?
- When doing this map migration, do I need to have the WLCs/APs already in Prime, or can I add them later? Just trying to get the order of operations correct.
