Prime Infrastructure monitor segragated network

Hello people,

I would like to know if there are any limitations on Prime to configure multiple interfaces in order to monitor different segregated networks that do not comunicate with each other.

I couldn't find any documentation on this kind of deployment

I'll really appreciate your help.

Greetings

 - If Prime can reach the network devices on the segregated  network, that will work.

Hello Merce1000,

Actually, to do so we configured 4 interfaces on Prime, G0 (management of Prime), G1, G2, G3.

the Gi0 where the management is configured on Prime and the G1 are working, icmp, SSH, SNMP.

on G2 and G3, we were able to reach the devices but the SSH service says wrong credentials, we couldn't see any requested access in ssh from the prime but we can reach the device.

                                          >...but the SSH service says wrong credentials,

 - Strange , can you try to ssh manually from a Prime-shell : 1) Can you connect to those devices, then, with SSH    2) Are  the credentials accepted ?

Actually, I've tried from the Prime to access SSH to the device and the connection was timed out, and I can reach the device from prime (I can ping it)

obviously, from that specific network, we are able to access SSH to the device.

I was wondering if the prime has some sort of limitation on Prime, I've never seen multiple interfaces configured on Prime

 - If you can ping it from Prime but not SSH , then you need to look at possible blocking by intermediate devices (Intranet firewalling) or  network access restrictions on the targeted device itself. If ping is possible , then I don't think it is an interface or lower level networking problem. You may for instance run nmap from Prime to the device and check which services are available and or respond.
