Hi

I have a Windows 2008 R2 Server with LMS 4.2.4 and I'm trying to upgrade it to the new Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.5.

When I execute the Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.5 Windows Setup, after a few seconds a window pop up and shows an error:

>SetupNew\setup.cpp (143)

PAPP;

PVENDOR;

PGUID;

$

@Windows Vista Service Pack 0 (7600)

IE Version: 9.0.8112.16421

And it doesnt let me install the new patch.

I have reinitialize the dfmEpm database and it's the same.

I would appriciate your help!!

Thank you very much

Sincerely,

Laurent

Hi ,

open the services.msc window ,change the startup type for  "ciscoworks daemon manager"

from AUTOMATIC to MANAUL

now reboot the server.

-start the Installation.

-once Installation is finished , open the services.msc window and change the startup type back to "Automatic"

Hope it will help

Thanks-

Hi Laurent,

Stop the LMS services (net stop crmdmgtd)

Open the "Task Manager" , check if any of the Cisco works services running , like dbsrv ,sm_server etc..

if yes , maunally kill it and

start the Installation again

Thanks-
