After I configured a 2811 router with "ip flow-export destination 10.10.100.100 9995 sctp", the router showed errors of "%SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of 1708 bytes failed from 0x40394258, alignment 32, Pool: I/O Free: 480 Cause: Not enough free memory". After that OSPF adjacency came down and router became non-responding. Here is the complete NetFlow config:
ip flow-export source Loopback0
ip flow-export version 9
ip flow-export destination 10.10.100.100 9995 sctp
backup destination 10.10.100.101 9995
backup mode fail-over
Does "ip flow-export sctp" command have memory requirement? I searched Cisco command reference but didn't see any. Have anyone seen similar errors on other router platforms or IOS? I'm running IOS 12.4(24)T2 advanced enterprise.
Thanks
