Hi all,

I want to ask that if a Catalyst's port are setup to be authenticate by external radius server, can the radius server know which Catalyst port/interface ask for authentication?

AFAIK you can authenticate the connections getting onto the catalyst via telent thru radius server..

i dont think itz possible to authenticate the connection on the port from an external radius server.

instead you can enable port security and keyin the required mac-address or known mac which will get connected on the particular port..
