RME 3.5: Inventory import failure

Hi all

Has anyone seen anything on the following bug:

CSCin56596 - Could not commit groups and annotations

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCin56596&cco_product=CW2000+Essentials&fset=inventory&swver=&k

eyw=&target=&train=

I think this bug is preventing me from being able to add any more devices to my Inventory. Currently, I have 1700 devices imported since rebuilding the box, but I cannot get any more devices into the inventory

I have tried import through .csv and through the web interface

Imports now fail because RME states that either the device is 'not responding', or 'could not commit groups and annotations' - I know that that these devices are reachable from the RME server and this is confirmed by a 'management station to device test'

The work-around for this bug is to reinitialize the database, but I really don't want to do that and lose all my data ..

HI Nadim

Many thanks for your response.

This server is running IDU 5.0, as was due to be brought up-to-date with patches anyways, so I'll try this and see how I get on

Cheers
